Course content

The course discusses the use of logic(s) to tackle philosophical issues, especially ones concerning metaphysics and the philosophy of language. The topics dealt with include (i) vagueness; (ii) truth (the liar paradox); (iii)  conditionals and modalities.

  • In this course students learn how to build and evaluate logical theories.
