Students will participate in a four-week research project offered by chemical research groups from UvA and VU. These projects can be either laboratory-based or computational, depending on the focus of the research group. Each project is conducted in pairs, allowing students to collaborate, apply theoretical knowledge, and develop practical research skills.
Throughout the project, students will work under the supervision of an experienced researcher who provides guidance and support. They will engage in experimental lab work or computational modeling, depending on the nature of their assigned project.
By the end of the four-week period, each pair of students must compile their findings into a structured and well-documented scientific report. This report serves as the final deliverable and should include details on the research objectives, methodology, results, and conclusions.
