Course content

In four interactive workshops, tools are offered to reflect on who you are and set goals for what you want to achieve as a student and as a professional. You will explore your competencies and the challenges that you will face when you take the first step towards your future career. You will take a career test, analyze the labor market and improve your networking skills. Insights in your personal leadership is also part of the course. After this course you will have a clear picture of your values and ambitions, so you can use these insights to make well-founded choices in your career.

Objectives

  • Reflect on experiences and feedback, to evaluate one’s own strengths, limitations, motivation and aspirations in the context of (exploring) career opportunities.
  • Formulate purposeful driving questions and tasks in the context of (exploring) career opportunities.
  • Seek input from others in the context of (exploring) career opportunities (networking).

  1. Attendance during practical components exercises is mandatory.

Attendance and active participation during the four workshops is mandatory. If you are not able to join one of the sessions, contact the course coordinator to discuss your possibilities of passing the course (missing more than 1 session will result in a negative assessment (fail) of the course).

The quality of the Reflection report is assessed using a rubric and graded with pass/fail.
